Returned Rental Device was Rejected?

Dear Vodafone,

 

First of all, happy new year!

 

I have a rental device (Router Fritzbox 7590) since November last year, and had decided to order a router last December from Vodafone so that I will not have to rent a device. I have contacted the support via email and told me that he will process my order and I have to return the rental device as soon as I got my ordered router. Last week, I had received my ordered router and processed the return of the rental router.

Today, I have received an email from Vodafone that they have received my rental device but they don't want to accept it because of damaged packaging. What does this mean? I have sent the router in good condition and the package is fine. Please explain what is the problem with my returned item and what should I do next. I don't want to pay anymore for the rental device. I already have my own router.

thank you and a happy new your for you too!

 

The return reason here is wrong because of a system error. Your have ordered your contract inclusive the FritzBox for 24 month. That the reason because your return not approved.

 

After 24 month you can change to an other router.
