English Support - Returning Devices - What documents required in the box?

Hello community/Vodafone

 

I need to return devices to Vodafone from a contract that was ended in October. I no longer live in the property (my ex wife does) so I have not received any documents explaining how to return the devices. 

 

Do I need to stick any paperwork in the box with the returns, or simply ship the devices back and Vodafone know they're mine from serial numbers etc? 

 

I have checked my email and following the termination of the contract I never received any emails advising what must be done to return a device. If fact, the last email from Vodafone was December 2018 - 10 months prior to the contract being cancelled and to the best of my knowledge no post has arrived prior to the second reminder I was handed today.  

 

So, do I just stick the devices back in the box and send them back, or do I have to stick details on my contract in the boxes?

Reading through this forum, it seems that Vodfone decline returns if they're received after 14 days of cancellation. Can that be true? 

 

I spoke (with the help of a colleague) to the Vodafone support team and they advised that it is still ok to return the device now and the final bill will be amended - were they lying?

Hey SimpleSimon,

were you using a dsl or a cable product?

Since you've posted in the dsl board I'll asume that you had a dsl contract.
Normally you'll find the return voucher as a part of your cancellation confirmation.
Most likely we send these via mail (as long as we have a verified mail adress).

We only debit the contract several weeks after the deadline.

After speaking privately with @Andre  from the Vodafone moderation team, my issue has been resolved. 

 

I think it's important to point out that the response was excellent from @Andre and the Vodafone team.
