Cannot activate my EasyBox 804 - "Please plug the DSL cable into the dedicated DSL port on EasyBox."

Hello,

I don’t have internet for more than a week now. Went through multiple calls with technical support and I was told there was a problem cause by the Telecom. So your support team booked appointment and then I understood from my landlord that you have provided him with an update that the issue is solved and I need to make a new installation now.

When I try to do it , i can’t as it seems the DSL connection cannot.be established. I am receiving "Please plug the DSL cable into the dedicated DSL port on EasyBox." error.

Can you please help me?

Was the line already active once?

 

I only ask because DSL lines have to be initially set up by Telekom (or the corresponding network operator - that's mostly NOT Vodafone!). If you plug in the router before the given installation date, it won't work.

Additional information - when I log in to the EasyBox administration I am able to trigger Diagnostic. I get two error codes - FC811 and FC815. with messages to check the wiring of the telephone socket and the DSL connector and “No connection to the telephone network available now”.

Any help how to proceed is very welcomed 😞 (I am really unhappy with the quality of service as I reported the problem more than a week ago and it took quite some time to get Telecom technician to look into it. When he finally did something, without entering the apartment ?! I got message that everything’s fixed and I need to make a new installation now. Yeah, still trying to get there but there is no English speaking service via the call center, even though i got the number via sms from Vodafone, stating this is the English speeking support number...)
