Hi, I am living in Berlin 10555 with a Cable cotract (Red Internet & Phone 250 Cable). Since Thursday 28/10, there has been no internet on my connection. I called the fault hotline where I was told that there is a local fault. This has been going on for 4 days and last evening, the internet was back on for a few hours. This is the third time it has happened in the last 4 weeks, and in all cases, the fault took a couple of days to resolve. This would easily be a total of 10 days without internet in a month - which is not reliable at all and in fact poor for the amount I pay for fast internet. I would like to have more information about what the problem is and when I can expect some sort of normality. I work from home and it is really a big loss of income to have to find a solution at short notice every other week.

When I said the internet was back on for a few hours, I meant that it came and then promptly stopped working again, and is currently not working.
I understand that these faults can take a while to investigate and remediate, but there is no information provided whatsoever on how severe the fault is and if I should find another solution for another week.

Hi @JegaT,
well, its called a "Rückwegstörer" whats the interruptions on your site,- my colleagues are on it. The last ticket you closed it by yourself, did you got the same problems still?
Regards
Tobias

Hi Tobias, I cancelled the ticket because it was from weeks ago and I could not raise a new ticket for that reason.
My internet is back on now but suffers from dropouts very regularly. Is there a way to monitor it over an extended period of time as I know that the speed check is a spot check and is not accurate over time.
Many thanks,
Jega

Hello JegaT,
what do you mean by dropouts, are there disconnects or is the speed low? We need examples with a time stamp to check this. Please test with an ethernet connection.
Kind regards,
Claudia
