Internet connection breaking

Hello

 

I use Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable with Vodafone station (CGA4233DE).

 

For a few weeks now i have issue with my internet connection.

The download/upload speeds are ok, but the connection breaks very often.

 

Below you can find the pingplotter screenshot.

In addition, the time in the router is 2 hrs early, and event log is filled with error entries - see attached.

Can you upload a picture of the plot where I can see the target?

 

Please answer the following questions:

  • In which state do you live? Please also send the zip code
  • Which contract do you have? (e.g. Internet + Phone 100)
  • How is your end device connected to the modem? (LAN; WLAN; additional router; PowerLAN)
  • Which browser do you normally use? (e.g. Firefox)
  • Which operating system do you have on your computer? (e.g. Windows)
  • Beginning and period of the disturbance (e.g. since beginning of April; only in the evening)
  • Upload a screenshot of the signal values. You can find them in the user interface of your cable router via 192.168.0.1

Just copy the points and add your information.

  • How is your end device connected to the modem? (LAN; Wi-Fi; additional router; PowerLAN) Multiple devices connected by both LAN and WLAN. Problem exists on both
  • Which browser do you normally use? (e.g. Firefox) Chrome, Opera and MS Edge
  • Which operating system do you have on your computer? (e.g. Windows) Windows
  • Beginning and period of the disturbance (e.g. since beginning of April; only in the evening) Beggining of August
  • Upload a screenshot of the signal values. You can find them in the user interface of your cable router via 192.168.0.1

Hello Karols,

 

There’s been a malfunction in the return channel. Currently, the error rate is back in the normal range. Are the tests okay? Otherwise, a technician has to look over the connection.
