Wrong cable with Vodafone Station

I have ordered a cable connection and got my Vodafone station delivered last day. But when I am trying to connect, the cable came with the router does not fit my home socket. The image of the cable and my home socket are attached.

Please help with this.

yes both sides have thorn but the angled end is too large to go inside both router and socket. I doubt whether its the right cable.
