Hi everyone, Sorry for writing in English, but I would like to report a very similar experience that I had and I want to make sure it is properly documented. I recently visited a Vodafone Fachhandel store located at Frankfurter Allee 85, 10247 Berlin to purchase a prepaid SIM card. I was told that the SIM card would cost around 10€, which seemed straightforward. However, at the time of payment, I was charged an additional 50€ fee, which was explained to me as an “activation fee” or “service fee” for setting up the SIM card. This was never clearly communicated before the purchase. The process was confusing and not transparent. I was not shown any official price list explaining such a high activation cost, and I was only given separate receipts without a proper breakdown. When I questioned the charges, I was told different explanations, which made the situation even more unclear. As a new customer in Germany, I found this experience very frustrating and misleading. From what I understand, SIM card activation is normally free or included in the advertised price, and such additional fees should be clearly disclosed beforehand. I believe this situation is not fair and may be misleading for customers, especially those who do not speak German fluently. I would like to formally request a review of this case and a clarification of the charges. If possible, I also request a refund of the additional activation fee that was charged without clear prior information. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Tais

Just to make it clear:
If this shop let you pay additional fees, it's just between you and that shop to clarify the situation.
Vodafone has nothing to do with these additional fees - that's just between you and the shop.
