Activating my eSim plan

I have downloaded my eSim but have not been able to activate my plan.  My device didn't guide me through any activation process when inputting the eSim either. How do I activate this plan for my number? When I check the status of my order online it says "Deine eSIM wird gerade für den Download vorbereitet" also. Thank you!
