Query about my internet contract & connectivity problem

Hi

 

Currently, I am using Vodafone 1000Mbps for the first 6 months and I would downgrade it after 6 months to 100 Mbps. Could you please let me know how I can request this? Is there any email address that I can send my request to?

I submitted the request last month and also got the confirmation you cancelled the package from my invoice, but this month I charged for this again. Could you please check this on your side? This is totally unfair that I have to monitor my account always for mistakes!

there's nothing unfair and there's no mistake.

 

As confirmed, the security package will end on 9 May and overpayments will be refunded with the next invoice.

Based on this thread, I already asked you to downgrade my internet package after the 6th month to 100 Mbps to pay 24.99 euro per month and as you can see, you already agreed & gave me the confirmation about this. Today I just saw you charged my card 36.99 which is for packaged 1000 Mbps. Could you please explain to me how this mistake happened and when you will refund the extra costs you charged?

The Red Internet & Phone 100 Cable tariff costs € 34.99 per month. This amount will then be calculated to you from August 15th.
If the invoice was created before this date, the previous tariff will be calculated for this invoice period and the day-specific correction will be made for the next invoice.

Thank you for your reply. At that moment I was making the contract, what I remember was 29 euro for 100Mbps, not 34.99. By the way, as I can see you have one cable tariff 1000Mbps for 39,99. My question is do I eligible to get this or how I can upgrade my service?

Hi Mohamm6d,

 

you can upgrade the contract via the customer portal. The term then restarts at 24 months and a one-time charge of 9.99 euros is made for the change.

What is the best way to keep the contract time? Can I stay on Red packages & just upgrade or downgrade the service and continue the current contract?

Every tariff change except the change guarantee in the first 6 months leads to a restart of the minimum contract period of 24 months. It doesn't matter whether you book the CableMax or a higher Red Internet & Phone tariff. A downgrade is only possible at the end of the minimum contract period and can then restart with 24 months.

Unfortunately, I did this mistake and did not know that due to some wrong info I got way before. Is there any possibility to make an exception here for my contract to allow me to only upgrade it to 1K mbps for 39? that really helps me. thanks in advance

If you have already been downgraded to the Red Internet & Phone 100 Cable, you can change your tariff to the CableMax 1000 via MeinVodafone until November 1st, 2021. Here, € 9.99 is due for the early contract change and the minimum contract period starts again.
There are no exceptions.
