Hello
Today I received my new DSL router.
Contract started on 23.2 - location Berlin
However after following the set-up steps a few hours ago, I can see the router in my network list but the red light is flashing and I cannot connect to the internet.
I called the helpline, but my German is bad so your colleagues asked me to write here for help!

Was the Telekom technician already on site to activate your DSL connection or did you book a cable Internet connection via the TV cable?

There was no DSL technician onsite as I had (perhaps mistakenly!) understood from my conversation with vodadone when I ordered the router that it was not needed...
The DSL cable is plugged into the TV socket, using the adapter provided.

Then you don't have a DSL, but a cable Internet contract. I've moved your post to the correct board.
What federal state are you from? Have you already contacted the hotline to report the failed self-installation?
