Hello,

We've been experiencing very bad connections for at least 2 months. Both WLAN and LAN.

We pay for 400mbs and we barely get 20Mbps at times. Videocalls, streaming, and gaming are a thing of the past since we now solely rely on our cellphones connections.

We tried all the possible solutions but resetting everything, restarting the router, checking the cables, and so on and so forth. I know that the entire neighborhood under Vodafone has the exact same issue with the internet being super slow and interrupting multiple times a day.

We cannot work in this situation. I would like to get refunded for all these months we had with a very bad connection and some help to fix it. If not possible please let me know how I can cancel my contract without having to wait/pay until November (The earliest cancellation based on my account).

we have looked at why these problems occur.

 

The reason is that the load is increased during peak usage times. This results in bottlenecks and you only achieve a fraction of the booked speed.

 

The network is being upgraded by us on site to increase capacity. The work is also already underway. However, this work is expected to continue until the end of the year.

 

For the next 6 months, I can offer you a credit equivalent to 50% of the basic monthly fee. Would that be okay for you?

Please be aware that internet is still not working and we need to use our phones as hotspots

Ich habe seit 5 Wochen ständig Abbrüche im Sekundentakt. Völlig unbenutzbar. Muss jetzt zusehen aus meinem Vertrag auszusteigen. Keiner kann arbeiten. Geht nur über die Telekom LTE Karte. Werde nur noch Telekom mit Backup LTE buchen. Vodafone hat es nicht im Griff. Sorry.

Just to be crystal clear, this means that in the next 6 months I'm paying 50%, correct?

you will receive a credit equal to 50%. The invoices will be settled with it. This means that we do not charge you again until the credit has been used up.

Lucky you, I have almost no internet the last 6 weeks and there is no help. It is nightmare with Vodafone. I can understand certain issues here or there but 6 weeks no service is a no go. I really ask myself if Vodafone is able to manage such a huge resonsibility is critical times like now. Anyway in the moment I get released out of my contract, I will go back to D Telekom. Better slow than nothing.
