Internet contract terminated, router submitted, still getting billed

Hi Vodafone,

I raised the contract termination request last year as I moved to another city. My termination request was approved and Vodafone asked me to submit the router, I did so in November 2020.

Vodafone mentioned that the contract will be terminated once I submit the router. However, the monthly bill amount is still getting debited from my account. Could you please let me know what is the situation with the contract and why I am still getting billed?

Hello KunalHire,

 

you only gave notice of termination and this was confirmed to you at the end of the term on 13.09.2021. You did not report a move, you did not report a new address. The contract is not terminated immediately just because you move house. Returning the router cannot change this.

 

Please report your move to the relocation service.

I was not told that I have to update the move on this portal. Nevertheless, I have updated my new address in the portal. However, there is no way that I can select the date in the past when exactly I moved to Berlin.

 

Could you please let me know when will the contract be terminated? and when will I be stopped getting billed?

Hi KunalHire,

 

based on the regular notice you sent us in 2020, the contract runs until September 2021.

 

An earlier date may be possible, but only if your current address cannot be supplied by us. Please notify us of your move using this form.

I already have updated my move to the new address on 17th March 2021(please refer to my message in this trail). Please let me know if the contract can be terminated before Sept 2021.

no relocation has been reported and no change of address has been received. Please use the way Stephan pointed out and report a move.
