How early should we inform to switch the tariff from Red internet and phone 200 Mbps to 50Mbps

I purchased the tariff "Red Internet & Phone 200 Cable" on 09.11.2019. After 1 year I would like to switch the tariff to 50Mbps. May I know the latest date to inform about the switching?

the information about the desired contract change is sufficient 14 days before the date. So you still have enough time. You can also contact us here in the community. But now it would be too early.

I had sent the request to switch to 50Mbps back in October 2020. I had also sent you a private message with the customer details and had replied to this thread. 

I just checked my payment bill and still see 200Mbps and I am being charged 10 Euro extra from the past 6 months. For 50Mbps the charge is 29,99€ and for 200Mbps 39,99€. 
What is the reason for not switching to 50Mbps although I had sent all the details as requested by you?

I'm sorry, but unfortunately your answer got lost. I can't change it retroactively, unfortunately.

But as I have just seen, the colleagues have now processed the contract takeover. Does the new contractor also want the adjustment? If so, he would have to contact us now.

So the person who is taking over the contract should send this 50Mbps transfer request. Right?

Is there any acceptable reason why this 200Mbps to 50Mbps conversion was not done the first time I sent the request?
