Contract termination date incorrect

My contract tariff was changed on 8th June 2020. The tariff change document "Ihre Tarifwechselbestätigung" confirmed the start date of the tariff as 8th June 2020 and the minimum duration of the contract being 12 months. This is because the tariff change was made based on a clause in the original contract. My original contract was for 24 months at 1000 MBits and explicitly allowed for a free downgrade to (200/400/...) MBits after 1 year. There was no clause in the original contract pertaining to contract extension as a result of tariff change.

 

However, now when I try to switch to Telekom Fiber, I am informed my contract can be terminated only on 8th June 2022. This is an error. Please help.

When would your original contract have run out?

And was it a downgrade after the first year -or- a simple contract change after 2nd year?

The original contract could be ended on 8th Jun 2021. It was a downgrade after first year.

How do I now change the contract cancellation data to this earlier date? The "Vertragsende" is still 08.06.2022 . I need to prepone it by 1 year.

the colleagues have already cleaned up everything so far. The termination date is still being adjusted, but this still requires internal rework.

The system has not updated my contract termination date yet. Could you confirm whether any action is required on my part to prepone the termination? How long will it take?
