Cancel my Cable Internet Contract

Hello,

I am moving back to the USA from Germany on 18.10.2021. I need to cancel my Cable Internet.

Where do I send my equipment(Cable Router) back?

Can Vodafone send me a DHL Label or do I need to pay the shipping?

Which federal state are you from? It depends on how you have to proceed and whether you have to pay for the return.

• You come from North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse or Baden-Württemberg, i.e. the area of Vodafone West / ex-Unitymedia? Then send an email with your special cancellation and attach your de-registration certificate as a PDF document. You can then create and print out a DHL parcel label yourself so that you can send your cable router and, if applicable, your TV hardware back free of charge.
• Do you come from the rest of the federal states, i.e. the area of Vodafone Germany / ex-Kabel Deutschland? Then report your move via the moving service in MeinVodafone or MeinKabel. You have to send back the cable router and any TV hardware at your own expense.

In both cases the following applies: Your connection will be terminated with a notice period of 3 months, which you still have to pay in any case.
