I have the old Vodafone station(not the wifi6 one!), and since that latest 2 weeks ago update I suffer from huge packet loss over the wifi, through the normal lan everything is ok!

I tried everything, reset the router, optimize the wifi signal, but nothing worked. can you please help me resolve this issue? everything used to work perfectly two weeks ago. is there a way to revert that update?

Never check Connections over Wifi.  Check your home for Dirty Power from Switching Power Units.

didn't get what you mean? but using an old router I have no issues with the wifi. I think it's mainly because of this new firmware

Check some Other Laptops on your Wifi. Same Problem with other Network Cards ?

Check for Packetloss outside ( Internet)  and Inside ( Intranet) Connect to second PC in your House.

Hi Vodafone support, I hope you see my messages. so I noticed this kind of issues while playing on google stadia. and when I went to google support they referred to similar case (https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/St%C3%B6rungsmeldungen-Internet-TV/Abends-schlechte-Verbindung-Ruckler-...

could you please help me as you helped in this previous case?

@8-lagig I've tried on laptops mac and windows and they all show the same behaviour 😞

Hello Achee,

in which federal state do you live? As there is no probem via ethernet, please check the hints for WiFi optimisation, for example dividing the WiFi networks and using different SSID.

Kind regards

Claudia

Hello @Claudia ,

I Live in Dusseldorf, NRW and I've really tried everything possible from changing the network name, channel and by default, I separate the two networks so band steering is OFF, but no matter I do I've always at least 2~5% packet loss which really causes lagging.

thanks for the reply and I appreciate your help

@Claudia even pinging against 192.168.0.1 results in 3% packet loss, while my devices are directly next to the router

looks like the last firmware does some disturbing stuff with the WLAN signal.. lots of Vodafone Stations were exchanged but i think its about the firmware...
