Hallo
Leider ist mein Deutsch nicht besonders gut, deshalb schreibe ich auf Englisch.
I have a (Linux) computer connected to my Vodafone router via ethernet, and I would like to be able to access this computer remotely (i.e. when I am away from home). I am trying to solve this via port-forwarding (admittedly I am still a novice with networking). I couldn't find port-forwarding on the "Vodafone Station" though I did find IPv6 Host Exposure, which seems to be what I'm looking for. I added the device there, gave it a Port and TCP/UDP protocal. I also made sure to give it a static DHCP (Einstellungen -> LAN -> Statisches DHCP - Heimnetzwerk).
When I'm on the network I can connect to it just fine via `ssh <user>@<local_ip_address>` or (after editing `/etc/ssh/sshd_config`) `ssh -p <port> <user>@<local_ip_address>`. However, I cannot connect outside the network, even with the host exposure. I got my router IP from: https://www.whatismyip.com/ then tried `ssh -p <port> <user>@<router_ip>` but I get the error `Connection refused`. Are there any instructions on how to properly set up remote access for Vodafone routers?

What do you expect more than two years after this thread was started?
And the firmware issue with the Vodafone station was not fixed - and to be fair, I doubt it ever will get fixed as this "feature" is not important for most home users. Someone who wants to use more advanced features usually gets a retail router and doesn't use the standard devices from Vodafone (or turns them into Bridge Mode with a retail router set up behind).
