I need to switch to Dual Stack for home office

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me - I recently just got a DSL contract with vodafone (Red internet 100) and was hoping to work from home over my companies VPN. However, the VPN wouldn't work and I couldn't connect to any of the things I required. When I inquired at work, they said vodafone users are usually assigned a connection for DS Lite but that I would require Dual stack to work from home.

I was hoping a moderator could inform me if this is possible?

If you need DualStack for work, then you should switch to a Business plan.

Private customer plans don't include DualStack but only DualStack-Lite as it is written in the AGB - hence there won't be any (everlasting) change over here.

And by the way: If your employer knows the problem, he should work on the solution and provide an IPv6 capable VPN solution instead of requiring his employees to ask for non contractually agreed upon services at their ISP. If your employer anyhow thinks that providing an IPv6 (which is by the way over 20 years old) capable solution is too expensive, then they might reimburse you the difference in price between the private customer plan and the business plan...
