Dear Sir/Madame,
My name is Antonios Drakopoulos and I held a contract with your company for home internet and telephone (Kundennummer XXX), which I terminated in November 2019 because I moved out of Germany -hence it was not possible to transfer the contract to a new address. The following months I continued to pay the monthly invoices of this service, despit the fact that somebody else lives in my previous appartment thus there is another active contract on the same line.
I managed to contact you from my current residence in Greece about this situation (which was rather difficult to do in English) and your employee prompted me to send you a letter via post asking for a refund on the costs paid from December 2019 up to now. I sent you the aforementioned letter by post including a copy of my Abmeldung from the Rathaus, a copy of my ID and a copy of my Kuendigung. I received a response to this letter via email, prompting me to make a relevant post here -which I am.
Please inform me of the next steps for my refund.
Edit: @ADrak Please do not post customer data publicly.

For anyone actually reading all my messages, it is crystal clear that I was told from a Vodafone employee that I would get a refund once the urgent cancellation due to moving out of the country was accepted and verified, and I was not asked to provide this document.
Anyone but you I suppose.
I have already written all this, but apparently you find it hard to believe me or something. I am being 100% honest about what happened.
All this is terrible customer policy and I regret to say that I will definately not be choosing Vodafone for any service in the future in any country that I am situated.

As I said before, I could not relocate the connection to another country.
When I asked about the situation, the inital response was that since I am moving, I could take the number with me. When I told them I'm moving to another country, they told me that this is not possible (which is quite logical). Thus, they told me that my new address in Greece is not needed.
And indeed it was not needed, as the Vodafone employee with whom I spoke at the phone prompted me to ask for a refund by providing only the document of abmeldung from the Rathaus.

Hi ADrak,
we have already confirmed your cancellation at the regular end of the term in November 2019. Since then, we have not heard anything more from you and therefore assume that it is correct. A move abroad was never reported and therefore there was no reason to terminate the contract prematurely. From our side, everything is said and we can not write more about it.
Regards
Thomas
