I have a technicolor cga4233de wifi router and a genua wifi card. When I try to connect to my laptop through the genua card to my company VPN it just hangs and does not connect. I have read of similar instances on the forum one solution suggested is to enacT IPv4 dont know if that will cure the problem.

Hello Martin and thanks for your response.
The Vodafone Technicolor Router is connected from LAN1 to the Belkin Router LAN1.
Yes I activated the Bridge Mode in the Customer Portal.
My company uses the Genua v3 card which I believe uses PPPoE over DSL.

Hi Ste5,
maybe you have to open some ports at your firwall. You can make a simple test. Connect your device via LAN direct with our modem (in brdigemode). Restart the modem and than try to connect your VPN.
Kind regards

Hello Marco
I have restarted both the Vodafone Router (in Bridge Mode) and the Belkin Router when connected from LAN to LAN.
When the Vodafone Router is in Bridge Mode no Internet access is available at the Belkin Router.

Hello Ste5,
have you tried to connect a PC on LAN1 port instead? Did you connect your router to this port or another one?
Kind regards,
Claudia

Hello Ste5,
the line looks good. Please carry out a factory reset of our router.
Because of the VPN connection, have you asked the IT department of your company? Maybe they can see where the problem is.
Kind regards
