Moving Abroad - Need to Cancel Contract

Hello,

I have a mobile contract with Vodafone DE, however I am leaving Germany and going back to the United States. I sent my letter to cancel my contract along with my confirmation of deregistration to the following address:

Vodafone GMBH

Kundenbetreuung

40875 Ratingen

How will I receive confirmatino that my contract is canceled? Will I be notified in My Vodafone online account? I understand I may need to pay for 3 months, but I would like it completely canceled after that.
