Hello,
When I was studying abroad, I purchased a phone card at a physical store in Germany. Currently, I have left Germany.
I want to deactivate my mobile phone number. In fact, I haven't used it in the past few months.
I tried to log in to the mobile app, but I couldn't log in automatically using my phone number or via the SMS. I want to log in via internet-code, but I don't know what it is.
I saw someone say that one could set an internet code on the website. But after registering my account, I found that binding the contract required a "teilnehmer-kennwort", and I have no idea about this either.
I would like to know how I can cancel my mobile phone number?
Additionally, the automatic payment for my mobile phone number is linked to my bank card. Now I want to cancel this bank card because I no longer need it. If I cancel the bank card, will the mobile phone card automatically stop charging, or suspend service, or cancel the account? I don't want to have the situation where I cancel the bank card but the phone keeps accumulating my charges every month.
Danke und Grüße

Hi thz1,
thank you for reaching out to us. It's a tricky situation as you don't have any nessecary information to make changes for your contract (Teilnehmer-Kennwort, Internet-Passwort). Anyways: do you use CallYa? If the SIM is not in use for 90 days it will be deactivated automatically. You will receive a SMS from Vodafone four weeks prior and be informed about the cancellation. Any activation like sending SMS, calling someone or using internet will reset the 90-day-term.
Alternatively or even parallel please contact our customer service team on WhatsApp. Send your cancellation there and our team will be happy to help. If you cannot provide Internet-Passwort or Teilnehmer-Kennwort, there probably will be other legitimation options for you.
Let us know if you got the right help.
Liebe Grüße
