Mobile Phone Contract Termination

Dear Team,

Curretnly, I am holding two contracts with Vodafone: one is for my home internet and another one is for my mobile phone. My mobile phone contract will expire in January 2019 and I would like to terminate it, since I do not really need the phone and that "tarife" anymore.

I know that I need to send a termintaion letter to Vodafone, but what that termination would mean for my DSL contract? Consultant on the phone said that I will need to pay more after termination and recommended to ask at the forum for clarifications (as a barey speak German).

To wrap it up:

1. How can I terminate my mobile phone contract (as it will be over in January 2019)?

2. What would it mean for my DSL contract?

Thank you in advance!

Hi ZguRRo,

you can send a cancellation in written. Send it to:

Vodafone GmbH

Kundenbetreuung

40875 Ratingen

or by fax:

02102-986575

Else you can use our contact form, but it is in German. You can find it here: Kontaktformular

Best regards

  1. By sending a cancellation in written, stating that you wish to terminate the mobile conncection (insert phone number) at the earliest possible date.  Please be aware that there is a three months notice period for a cancellation, so if January is the month I'd hurry a bit (if I were you).
  2. If you have the Giga Combi rebate for your DSL connection (t be found on the invoice), then this will be removed by the time the mobile contract expires.  So to be precise:  You do not pay more for the contract, you only pay the regular price instead of a reduced one.

Ein Klick auf "Danke" tut nicht weh - ich sage schon mal "Dankeschee!"

Achtung, es folgt eine Signatur: Wenn überhaupt, dann jammern wir auf einem extrem hohen Niveau.

Thanks for the quick reply!

The only thing I cannot find is the address where I need to send it 🙂

Do you know it?

Best,

Anton,
