Early termination (moving abroad)

Hello, I have a mobile phone contract and I tried to cancel it through the form on Mein Vodafone portal, but the cancellation was confirmed for 2022 only. 

However, I am moving abroad to Brazil, I have the Abmeldung confirmation document and I would like an early termination of my contract. I understand that I will have to pay for a few months according to German laws, but I will close my bank account in Germany and I would like to have assistance regarding the best way to make the cancellation and pay for it.

Hello @Kelly_MIsa,

a cancellation is possible after the minimum term has expired.

You can book the monthly package price as a credit to your Vodafone account until the end of the contract.

The monthly costs would then be deducted from the credit balance and you would no longer need a bank account.

Thank you for your answer, @Sandra-K , but I've seen in this forum that early termination is possible if you are leaving the country, as long as you pay for a few months as a fine.

I have an Abmeldung confirmation and once my German bank account is closed, I will have no way of making payments to foreign countries when I'm back in Brazil.

I understand that I can book a payment to set as credit, but then I will have to pay for a service that I will no longer have a way of using/paying for? Isn't there a negotiation fee or a fine for early termination so I won't have to pay for more than 1 year of service that I will have no use for me?
