CANCELLATION OF MOBILE CONTRACT

HI There,

I have been trying toc ancel my mobile phone and have repeatedly called and emailed for weeks with no one willing to help me. I ahve atatched my new rental contract in sweden as proff as requested ont he website but I get no answer or no one willing to help me. I am moving to sweden on short notice and want to cancel my phone contract. I am on a 2 year contract which ends at the end of this month and would like to cancel it can some one please help me.

Just to clarify one thing:  As opposed to fixed network contracts, moving abroad while using a mobile contract does not entail a general possibility to prematurely cancel your contract.

What precisely was it that stopped them from helping?

Hi @mhymers,

you can only cancel your mobile contract in a normal way. There is no possibility to cancel those contracts earlier because you are be able to use your contract also in Sweden.

When your contract ends this month then you should have written your cancellation 3 month earlier (cancellation period).

Did you have already write your cancellation to Vodafone?
