Hi,
I'm leaving my flat and the next tenant would like to take over the contract. I understand that I have to fill in the formular (https://www.vodafone.de/infofaxe/297.pdf), correct?
But they would also like to reduce it from 100MB to 50MB. Is this possible at the transfer?
If not: my current contract ends in October, which means that in October I could reduce my contract, does this date also applies to them?
Thanks,
Natália.

Hey NPorto,
you can't change a tariff directly in one step, while changing contract partners.
Please fill the Infodoc 297 for "Vertragsübernahme für Vodafone Festnetz (Change of Tariffpartners Fixednet)".
The new tenant will get your contract, with all its discounts & runtime.
This also applies for the free downgrade in case of the "Wechselgarantie/exchange guarantee" .
Once the contract has fullfilled its first 12 month, you can downgrade an Internet & Phone 100 to a Internet & Phone 50 , without a new runtime or onetime fees.
So your guess was perfectly right 🙂
Best regards,
Andre

Hi Andre,
Thanks for your answer!
But this means that they cannot change it for 12 months, right?
So it's better to wait until my contract ends so I can reduce the fee and then make the transfer, correct?
What is the process to ask the reduction of the fee?
Thanks,
Natália.

Hi NPorto,
i've copy your questions. My answeres are cursive and blue.
"But this means that they cannot change it for 12 months, right?"
When the contract is new -> yes. Example: We activated your contract in September 2017, you(or new tenant) can downgrade the contract for the first time exactly after one year (September 2018).
So it's better to wait until my contract ends so I can reduce the fee and then make the transfer, correct?
Why? The new tenant can reduce the fee and tariff regulary after 24 month. You wrote that your contract runtime (24 month?!) will end in October?
What is the process to ask the reduction of the fee?
