Hi,
I am a new customer of Vodafone Kabel (1 week). I signed up for Internet & phone only, and I was super happy that the modem arrived in 2 days. That's remarkable. Everything was working great, until I received an email yesterday from Vodafone that my device will be ordered in the next few days.
But I had already received what I ordered, so, I looked into my Vodafone account and I am automatically signed up for GigaTV. The new package I assume contains TV receiver for GigaTV (haven't received yet). So, I call Vodafone customer service today and ask them why is it like that. They said we don't know, but if you don't want it, just use widerrufen option. Of course I will use that, but is it always the case that you get signed up for unwanted services automatically?
Should I be concerned in future as well that some unwanted service will be automatically registered?
Is there a way to cancel the shipment right now from some online option? otherwise I will have to go to Deutsche post filiale to pick up the package, then fill the widerrufen form and send it back. That's all the effort for something I didn't do, or even signed up for.
Please let me know.

I have picked up the package in the morning today. There is a Widerruf Formular and a Retourschein in it. I will fill the formular, and send it back.
I suppose I don't have to do anything else, do I? As in, do I need to call customer service and request cancellation for it?

no you don't have tot do anything else. The contract is already revoked and the confirmation for that is on it's way to you.
Sending the device back with the Retourschein is the last step.

Sorry to bother you again. I thought it would be best to continue this thread as the update is related to it.
So, now I am billed 50 Euros for Bereitstellungsentgelt TV. I don't understand why.
I have already received the Kündigungbestätigung (thanks to you), and I have alread received the confirmation from Vodafone that they have received the device back. I also did the Widerruf.
Can you look at it again?
I am sending you the Rechnung in PM.

Hi mdothassan,
the revocation and the invoicing have overlapped. You will get the money back by crediting it to your customer account.
