Termination of Kabel contract

I want to terminate my contract because I am relocating to another apartment. The new apartment already has internet and the cost is included in my rent. Please advise me on what to do.

Sorry to tell, but an already existing line is no valid reason for a premature cancellation of your contract.
The only possible reason would be if the contractually agreed servicee cannot be fulfilled at the new address.

So as long as the contract can be fulfilled at the new location, it'll move to the new location - regardless of any existing other lines at that location.

The apartment is a sublet of Studentenwerk and I have to pay double internet. I can pay for the cost before the three months notice is due. I have written customer service to inform them.

as user reneromann has already written, a move alone is no reason for a premature termination.

We always have to look directly at the details to see if and how the new address will be provided by us.
