Temporarily Leaving Germany

Dear Vodafone team,

I am leaving Germany temporarily for 5.5 months and will return back. However, I am registered in the Germany and also will not leave the appartment.

As, I will not be using the internet for 5.5 months. Therefore, can I cancel/terminate the internet service temporarily for 5 months. I do not want to pay the internet fees, while I am not using it.

there is unfortunately no possibility to pause or temporarily suspend the contract Also a pause of the payment is not possible, sorry.

Hello Frau Grit, I have 3 questions:

1. Kindly, inform me the contract cancellation process prematurely, i.e. how much more money i need to pay etc to terminate the contract.

I have to chose internet and phone 50 cable for 29.99 euro or internet and phone 100 for 34.99 euros, after 1 year of the contract.

2. Can I chose more economical package or not?

3. If not, then I prefer to chose internet and phone 50 cable. Therefore, I have a question that my contrcat will be valid for 2 years or 1 year will be further extended.

Hello qurb,

you can only terminate your contract early if we can no longer provide for you and you move abroad. Otherwise you can only terminate your contract at the end of the term.

You can change to a lower tariff from 02.11.2020, as it is also stated in your order confirmation.
