Hi so, am I client of Vodafone for around three or something years so I had a two year contract, that was renewed automatically with the same second year price ... of course that was pretty expensive and I received no notifications about that ...

Now I know that my contract is going to end and I know how to close it and since I have found a really nice speed / price option in other company I’m thinking about just changing the company but maybe there is a option to get a better deal at Vodafone ?... that would be easier than to change to whole company .. 🙂

As I’ve said there should be a note about that in the contract 🙂 I was just hoping that Vodafone would have a bit better policies regarding to clients 🙂

Well then you can’t do nothing about pricing so I’m just going to cancel my contract and go with different company 🙂

that the price changes after 12 months is stated in the order confirmation. So you had a discount as a new customer and that will be over sometime. Unfortunately, we can't make you another price. Unfortunately, we are not the right contact.

The problem was that I got another 12 month contract after the 24 months with the big price without any warning and yep I’m sure that it was written somewhere in the 1000+ page contract ... it’s just the fact that it definitely wasn’t a nice surprise ...

Ok so who’s the right contact for that ? 🙂 and English speaking none 🙂

As you’ve asked I’m responding here 🙂 so at the moment I’m looking for other company’s because for me personally Vodafone is been a huge mess . I’ve already asked in contact form about cancelation but because it’s still not officially approved I’m open to offers, but they have to be a good ones !
The speed is pretty good, so no need for a higher one, the pricing of course is a bit awful , first year 19.99 then another two years 39.99 ?!... that’s one of the reasons I want to leave Vodafone 🙂

you knew what the contract would cost at the end of the promotion. That it has a duration of 24 months and is automatically extended afterwards should also have been clear. I specifically asked you what you had in mind and what you would like to pay for it. If that is the trigger to cancel, i can't understand it at all.

I knew about the second year but I had no clue about what happens after 24 months and as I already wrote previously I’m sure that somewhere inside the huge contract with super small letters there are a note about that so I’m not blaming Vodafone in that, since it’s my first internet provider in Germany I just didn’t knew that no one is warning me about the end of contract and that it would be prolonged without any notice or acceptance and no I didn’t receive a call with new offer or email about the fact that I have to pay the 39.99 for another year because then of course I would cancel it immediately 🙂 that was the first reason I started to look for other company, second reason is that most of the third year and half of the second one the internet has been awful, I’ve called, made a couple posts, spoke to a lot of workers at you’re stores without any solution and now after all this time an router exchange for a better one has solved the issue ( SO FAR ), and of course no one has given me a discount or a refund for all the time when my internet wasn’t working or when the 200mb connections was 5mb ... that’s the second and third reason 🙂

As I said in last message I would definitely check the offer you can offer me but at the same time I’m still waiting for answers from other companies. And there is no need for a standardized offer, I can find it on my own at Vodafone’s homepage 🙂

what can I offer you? The contract costs 39,99 Euro. We can't change anything about it. Alternatively a downgrade to a cheaper tariff with less bandwidth would remain.

 

Concerning the contract and the duration. The contract is always automatically extended by another 12 months if not terminated in due time. You don't have to be informed about this before the contract expires. This was done at the beginning of the contract in the form of order confirmation and general terms and conditions.
