Hi,
I've been using the Vodafone Hotspot service fine for a couple of months now but all of a sudden it stopped working. I still see the usual 2 networks to choose from when selecting a wifi from my laptop (one Hotspot and one Homespot) but both of them seem to currently have no internet connection.
I've checked on the Hotspot finder (https://zuhauseplus.vodafone.de/internet-telefon/wlan-hotspots/) and found that there seem to be a lot of them in my area, and two of them actually show up at my building's location, specifically Homespot HH-3-4484865 or HH-3-3422464.
These 2 are not working for me though, I'm not sure why and if you could maybe check what's going on.
I don't really have the option to connect to any of the other ones available in the area, so I'm at a loss here.
Thanks

Hello SteveKerr,
both Homespots had connected users today. What exactly is the problem with the connection? Do you get an error message? At which step does the connection fail?
Kind regards,
Claudia

Hi Claudia. They are indeed, as of yesterday working again. They were just not working at all for a few days. Tried connecting with laptop, PC, iphone, I would just get a "No Internet Connection" message, on my phone for instance. Looked like the wifi networks were there but they were disconnected from the internet. Anyways, they're working now. I wonder if,in case this happens again, there's a way to choose to connect to a different hotspot if the closest one goes dead, like in this case.
Thank you

Hi SteveKerr,
this feature is provided by the WiFi of the device you use, not from the spot.
Can I close the thread?
Kind regards

is the hotspot also coming from someone's house router or that's provided somehow by Vodafone indipendently?

Hi SteveKerr,
the spots are provided by another customer ![]()
