I speak very little German and was not informed that I was signing up for these packages or anything to do with TV. When I was visited at my door by a Vodafone contact (and pushed to sign a contract), I shared that I only wanted and needed internet I did not want or need anything further.

I was then very clearly told that I was signing up for only internet which was going to only cost 19.99 EUR per month and this would be the only costs (after my current contract with my previous internet provider was finished) – in 2021). However, I have already been charged a number of times by Vodafone for services and things that I do not understand and have not willingly signed up for.

My current issues are as follows:

  • The internet box I was sent is still not working, and I have not managed to connect it to the internet
  • I was also not aware that I would be sent this additional box, which I have not used, do not need and did not sign up for. It also seems I will be charged for this and my cancellation for this contract has not been successful until 2022.
  • There has been no clear way to cancel this contract without payment

Please cancel all Vodafone contracts with immediate effect, with no further costs. Please let me know what is needed from my side to do this.
