Cablemax 500 tariff changed! Why?

Hello,

I have a red internet & phone 500 cable contract from 29.3.2019 to 29.3.2021. In March I received a letter to return my current modem and that a new one was sent. This never happened. No modem was received and I did not return the one I am using which still works. I was charged an extra 3 euro in my account in March. This month my tariff increased from 19.99 to 49.99!!

I did not change my tariff, address or contact vodafone in anyway, yet I have money leaving my account for no reason!

I can forward the letters in a private message once communication has been made.

Please assist.

Hi Melissa,

the tariff was for the first 12 months with a promotional price. These expired on 29.03.2020 and the regular price will apply. We have also confirmed this to you with the letter of 20.03.2019.

I understand. I see that I can get 1000 cable for the same price how does one upgrade? Also the new price for the 500 max online is quoted as 44.99 - can I take advantage of this reduced prive?

I can offer you the change to Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable for 49,99 Euro. For the first 3 months you will get a discount of 10 Euro, that is 39,99 Euro. The term would restart with 24 months and a one-time fee of 9. 99 euros would be charged as a flat rate for the tariff change. Would that be interesting for you?
