Hi, 

 

I need some help with my account. I am moving my home internet to another provider and they say that they need a response from Vodafone.

In my accout detail with Vodafone I see that the cancellation is in process but it has been like this for months.

Can Someone give me advice how I can get an update on why this is delayed and how I can complete this transaction?

 

I have tried calling the helpline but the support people are unable to assit in English and my German is too bad to get the results I need.

 

I have seen many people ask if there is an english support line and to be told no.

Let me ask you a few questions to get this a little clearer:

 

  1. Are we really talking about a cable connection here?
  2. Is the transfer planned for the same location or are you also changing residence?
  3. Did you order the service to be transferred to the new provider at the end of the existing contract with Vodafone?
  4. If so, did you cancel your existing contract yourself or did the new provider take care of that?
  5. If the new provider was charged with cancellation, did you receive any confirmation from them regarding dates/timelines?
  6. If transfer was ordered for the end of the existing contract, has the contract end date with Vodafone already arrived?
