Vodafone Station WLAN Problem

Good day,

I have a Vodafone Station modem device which came with my Vodafone Cable Internet connection.

I have WLAN connection problems with my device. Especially mobile phones' WLAN connection disconnected and coneccted very frequently. I also cannot established clear connection between my mobile phone and Google Nest.

Please find my device's detailes as below:

Firmware version:         2.0.17-IMS-KDG

Product name:               CGA4233DE

I've tried some hints to fix that issue but all could not help.

Any solution from Vodafone side?

what have you tried so far?

 

Do the devices randomly lose the connection or have you noticed anything specific?

Thanks for your reply.

First I tried manual band steering from my modem's admin screen. I assigned 2.4 and 5 Ghz wi-fi connecitons one by one but it didn't help. 

Then I splitted SSID's. After splitted, I've connected mobile phones to 5Ghz wifi connection. It helps a bit actually. But mobile phones (iphone and android) still disconnected and reconnected randomly. I didn't notice any specific app, time etc for losing connection.

 

I also use 2 LAN connections from the modem. I have no problem at all from LAN connections.

 

Do you have any other advice for me to try? Or maybe modem has a problem?

Hallo, ich habe das gleiche Problem.

Gerät und Firmware sind gleich.

 

Lan funktioniert.

Wlan hat Phasen in denen es klappt und dann wieder nicht.

Sowohl Laptop, MacBooks und Handys (Android und iPhone) haben keine Verbindung.

Dazu kommt, dass die Liste der Geräte im Wlan auf 0 steht, obwohl Geräte verbunden und aktiv sind.

 

Bisherige Ansätze:

Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen

I have seen that you have already separated the WLAN networks.
