Port forwarding filtered on vodafone side

Hi everyone,

i`m not good with german language, but i hope someone can help me with my situation in english.

I`ve accessed my vodafone CH7466CE router and setup port forwarding, also disabled the firewall.

My gaming setup is as follows:

CH7466CE - Vodafone Router => Asus RT-AX82U Router => Alienware Aurora 8 PC

I`mve installed an app that needs ports 31400 to 31409 to be open.

For the last 2 days i`ve tryed everything and got to the conclusion that it`s not something i can do.

It seems that ports are filltered by vodafone on their devices (servers, switches, etc) and i can`t do it myself.

On my side (CH7466CE router, RT-AX82U router) i`ve done all and still can`t make the app work on the desired ports: 31400, 31401 ... up to 31409.

I allready talked to two diffrent customer service employers and they can`t help me (part is my fault, because i can`t explain my problem in german language).

I hope someone that has the right technical knowledge can help/give me an answer.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerly,

Cristian

Thank you for the answer.

In the meantime someone from vodafone did changed my modem settings and it`s now in bridge mode.

The ports are open and all is fine.

Thank you Vodafone!

Just be aware that this might change - as your contract only includes connectivity using DualStack Lite.

This means that you contractually agreed, that you only get public IPv6 access and that all IPv4 traffic is running through an IPv6 tunnel to a so called "AFTR-Gateway" that shares a single external IPv4 across multiple customers (and thus port forwarding is not possible).
