Hello, 

 

I have been dealing with an ongoing issue regarding my modem/router. It is a KabelBox router. It randomly drops the internet several times each day. The lights are on but it does not work. After rebooting it, it usually works, but sometimes it takes several hours to connect again. Often, the lights keep flashing and it reboots several times before working. I don't think it is an issue with the power cable but more likely a problem with the internet cable or outlet connecting to the wall. 

 

Would it be possible to send a technician to my address to address this problem, troubleshoot the cables, or possibly replace it with a new router?

 

Please note I do not yet speak German so need to post my issue here in English.

What contract do you have? ( e. g Internet + telephone 100)

Which modem/router do you use? ( e. g B. Hitron)

Do you use a rental device from us or do you have your own device? What error occurs? ( Speed too low; packet loss) Send also screenshots of speed tests (with date and time) and tracerts/ ping plotter measurements for packet loss or ping problems

How is your device connected to the modem? ( LAN; WLAN; additional router; PowerLAN)

Which browser do you usually use? ( e. g B. Firefox)

Which operating system do you have on your computer? ( e. g B. Windows)

Start and period of the malfunction (e. g. B: since the beginning of April; in the evening only)

Upload a screenshot of the signal values. You can find this in the user interface of your cable router over 192. 168. 0. 1 or over 192. 168. 178. 1 at the Fritzbox. What measures were carried out by the fault hotline (reachable at 0800-5 266 625)? In which state do you live?
