Extremely slow internet since Nov 2020

Hi, 

 

I'm a vodafone customer and to be honest I wish I wasn't.

 

I'm very unhappy with the internet speed - wifi connected devices are all slow, hell, I disconnect my wife in order to open a url or load data in my app.

 

my PC is connected over cable - it is sometimes slow and when I try to do speedtest from vodafone's portal https://speedtest.vodafone.de/#speedtest_start, the upload test doesnt happen, lol - it get stuck at upload test.

 

sometimes, netflix doesn't even load the pictures.

 

I checked the router and thought maybe it's firmware thingy, but there is no way to look it up or know if it requires a new firmware update - can I get some help please

 

router's firmware version:  Firmware version 4.50.21.4

I'd like to take a closer look at the connection. I need your name, address, date of birth and customer number in a PM.

 

What values do you achieve in a speed test via Ethernet?
