DSL username or password false

Dear users,

I have been struggling with new vodafone internet and gigatv connection for months now and I have not been able to activate. We visited the store multiple times but they refuse to help. I am planning to return the set but before that, this forum is my last hope.
The technician came and confirmed that vodafone signal works at our place. We connected the modem using the code that we had received on our phone and then configured using the my vodafone username and password. When we now try to connect to the wifi network with the password given behind the fritzbox, it says the DSL username and password is wrong.
We have received only one password that we used to create a myvodafone login for gigatv. We are using the same for modem configuration. We have not received any instruction sheet or username password for internet. Can anyone guide please?

Hi Zubin,

welcome to the Vodafone-Community!

To set up the router you need a MIC --> Modem-Installation-Code.

This code and every other needed number and password to activate your internet is to be found in your welcome letter, the so called "Willkommensbrief".

This letter can be also send via EMail, did you double-check your mail-accounts and spam-bins?

If you still don´t find this letter, please DM your customer data and password for auhtentification and I´ll have a look
