Apologies for writing in English, my German is not good at all.
I will be leaving Germany at the End of April 2020 due to unforeseen circumstances, I will be deregistering. I am confused about how to end my GigaCube contract. The contract started in September 2019. On my understanding, I should be able to end the contract with the deregistration. Is this correct?
If I can cancel the contract then how do I do this? I am finding the various advice online rather confusing
Thank you in advance for any help you provide!
Edit: Hi @CallumDuncan Post moved to the correct area. Best regards WolfgangF

I'm sorry to tell you, but the rules that you might refer to are -as far as I know- only valid for landline contracts. Mobile contracts as the GigaCube are -as far as I know- NOT part of the official legislation under §46 TKG (8), thus you won't be able to terminate the contract early...
But I'm not completely sure if Vodafone did not implement a separate rule for GigaCube contracts as they are only usable in Germany. There might be differences to "regular" mobile contracts that can also be used abroad (of course with roaming fees being applied).

Thank you for your post!
You have hit straight onto my confusion. I understand that a landline contract could be cancelled as you could not use this out of Germany. And that a mobile contract could not be cancelled as you could use it with roaming,. However, what about the scenario of the GigaCube?
As you point out, it is not clear what applies to this case, I can not find anything that gives an answer. I am hoping someone here knows.

Hi CallumDuncan,
@reneromann is absolutely right. There is no special right of termination in this case. But I would like to take a closer look at the situation and check if there are other possibilities to help.
Please send me a PN with the phone number of the GigaCube and the corresponding customer password.
Also the info, where exactly you want to move to.
Many greetings
Der-Peter
