Vodafone Easy Box 840 Sockets

Hi All, I have recently got contract for DSL, I received Easy box router few days back. I am not sure if i need another adpater to use DSL cable as i cannot find DSL socket in my house, I have different socket in my apartment. I have attached both the screenshot for reference.

1. DSL Socket - I received in easy box

2. Socket in my apartment -  This is what i have in house.

Hey Kunaal,

did you ask the previous teanant or landlord about the situation in your appartment?

This can also be just an "extension" from the main telephone connection socket.
For example if the previous user just wanted an port for an phone.

The telecom technician is able to find the right telephone connection socket - or set a new one (if just the socket is missing and the inhouse cables are fine).

Just make sure that you know where the central distribution box is in this house & that is accessible when the technican arrives.
The box (APL in German) ist most likely somewhere in the basement.

Thanks for your reply. I have been contacted and they are not aware of it.

Yes I am aware of the central distribution box in house and hoping when technician wants to come. I think we need some adaptor for it.

From the first look this seems to be a normal RJ45 Lan Port.

It may work if you just connect the Easybox with this telephone socket.
I would wait for the technician.

Most likely he will set a new socket.

We don't have any RJ11/45 Adapters in Stock. This socket is part of some kind of individual solution from either the landlord a previous tenant.
