Hi, we are moving out to Italy. I wondering how to cancel my DSL contract and how much it will cost. I wonder whether it is possible to take my contract to Italy, since vodafone is also there.

There are numerous threads on this board where you can find pretty much all the answers.  Hence in short:

• Provide Vodafone with proof of your leaving Germany ("Abmeldebestätigung").
• Vodafone will charge you for the three following months after cancellation is received/processed according to German telecommunications lwas and regulations.
• Make sure to retunr all rented hardware (modem etc.) in due time.

No, that is not possible, as there is no Vodafone Germany in Italy and only Vodafone Germany is your contractual partner.

Thank you for this! I saw some of the other threads with same topic but not all points are clear to me:

1. Is there a proper document I need to download (where can i find it?) and sign for notifying vodafone of my termination of contract?

2. Where should I send this document if it exists?

3. I cannot provide a proof of departure before leaving, but I want to notify my termination before leaving so that the 3 months start running asap.

4. Where should I send the hardware?
