Internet contract (change from telephone line to cable)

Dear Mr/Mrs,

hello, this is Hyunah kwon (KundenNummer: xxxx)

I made a contract for the Internet in my new apartment, and I got the FRITZ box with DSL.

But I found that my new apartment does not have a telephone line. The previous tenant used the cable in the basement. (attached: Picture 1)

Could you please change the DSL to cable box, and install it?

I have checked your account. I'm sorry for that issue. 😞

We have already told you that the Telekom technician found that the telephone line is missing within the house. Please inform your property manager / landlord. They instruct the repair - normally - from a local electronics company.

Unitymedia is not a Vodafone Company. I'm sorry but I can't cancel our contract. Please talk to your landlord / property manager. We've sent you a letter with the discribtion too.

Dear Norman,

Happy new year.

I do not mean that I want to cancel the contract.

I just want to change the Vodafone DSL Modem to Vodafone Cable Modem. Unitymedia modem is the one of previous tenant. They will take it out soon.

I am keeping the DSL Modem in my house. Could you please install the Internet by Cable Modem, and take the DSL Modem back? 

I did not know if I could choose DSL and cable modems, because the workers in Vodafone did not ask me about it. They just sent me the DSL modem. 

I really hope that you can change the DSL Modem to Cable Modem.

It doesn't work. Unitymedia is not Vodafone. They didn't open their network for other internet service provider (ISP). Vodafone Cable is not available in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse & Baden-Wuerttemberg.
