Exstinguish contract by paying months in advance

Hello,

I need to move from my old temporary apartment where I have a Red Internet und Phone 50 DSL contract till the end of November. In the new flat there's already a vodafone contract, so I cannot bring my own there. 

Since someone else is going to stay in the house and I can't leave my contract there I was guessing if it's possible to pay in advance the remaining months, send back the modem and close the contract.

Hi Andrew,

in exceptional cases it is possible to terminate the contract prematurely.

We will then charge a fee. The amount of the compensation fee (Ausgleichszahlung) depends on the remaining term of the contract and the amount of the base price.

Another possibility would be that your next tenant takes over the contract. Simply fill out this document and send it to the contact details provided: https://www.vodafone.de/infofaxe/297.pdf  

If you want to end the contract early you can send a private message to me. I need your name, customer number, customer password and the date you wish to cancel the contract.

I will check if it is possible.

Hello Jens,

thank you so much for your quick answer. I'm gonna explain more in details my situation.

I earned this contract from the previous tenant by changing his name with mine (I think it's the same formular that you linked to me). Unfortunately the next tenant it's not interested in taking over my contract (cause it's too expensive for him) so I was thinking if it was a way to shut down the line in advance by paying all the remaining months till the end (31.11.2020) in just one payment. I would do so to give the possibility to the next tenant to have his own DSL contract and to avoid the risk of paying something that someone else would use for free or for possible illigal activities (copyright download for example) with my name on the contract. 

As far as I understood from your answer it would be possible to close the contract in advance by paying the remaining months plus a fee. Is it correct?
