Unable to load credit on CallYa SIM

Good afternoon

I apologise for typing this message in English. I am still learning German. I have not been able to load credit on my prepaid SIM.

I have tried 3 options:

1. I registered with my number on the app but it gives me an error message and tells me to try again later but it has been like that for a week now.

2. I tried to pay with a VISA and then Mastercard on this link: https://www.vodafone.de/meinvodafone/account/payment/aufladebetrag

3. Then I tried paying via PayPal on this link.

Will you please assist me and tell me what I can do load credit on my SIM.

Thank you

Lydia

Thank you so much for your reply.

I am not sure what tarriff I am on. How can I check that?  I downloaded the CallYa Flex app. Should I rather download the MeinVodafone app.

I am happy to charge up 15 Euro. I just tried it in case that was the problem but it still won't accept my credit card.

Thank you for your patience.

Lydia

Hi @LydiaRK,

You're welcome writing in English. That's okay..:-)

What CallYa tariff do you use and what app (MeinVodafone app or CallYa Flex)?
Which amount you want to charge up?
Note: The first amount have to be at least 15€. After that you can also charge up 5€.

Thank you so much for your reply.

From where you got your SIM-card? When online about the Vodafone website you should have choosen a SIM-card with a pre-set tariff (e.g. CallYa Flex, Smartphone Special etc.).

You can try to call the tariff manager 22044 (free of charge). Normally it starts with an offer (around 10 second). Press 2 for main menu after. Then 4 to change the language. Then 1 to switch into English language.

Switch to the main menu back and follow the instruction finding out your tariff.

When your tariff are CallYa Flex the CallYa Flex app is right.

For all other CallYa tariffs (Talk & SMS, Digital, Smartphone Special etc.) the MeinVodafone app is right.

Charging up about the app should work fine. I prefer PayPal for charging up my balance. I didn't have any problems yet.

Hi there

I have teh Smartphone Special. So I have the incorrect app. Is a cash card also an option if I don't come right with the app?

Thanks

Lydia

Hi Lydia ( @LydiaRK),

Yes, you're right. Please uninstall the CallYa Flex app and install the MeinVodafone app.

You have also the option to buy a CallNow card (15€, 25€ or 50€) in a store (electronic store, grocery, gas station). On the receipt is a code you able to charge up your balance then.

Keep us informed. 🙂
