I have had the same problem with Vodaphone router. It's super annoying.

I read this blogpost https://usefulvid.com/vodafone-station-wlan-probleme-geloest-2021-bilder-video/ which suggests 2 solutions.: (A) Get a different router (no from Vodaphone) or (B) disabled the 5GHz network.

I have disabled the 5GHz network (B) but it doesn't seem to improve.

Another solution that I tried in the past (not related to the blogpost), was to change the SSID (Wifi name). The logic behind that, was that if I was actually under a WANATTACK I won't get found. Not sure if it makes sense. It actually worked for a while (a few weeks) but I am not sure how optimal is to change the SSID name every once in a while.

I welcome other solutions. otherwise, I will start thinking about buying a new router.

Hello EngUserBayern,

the disconnections on your connection are identical in time to this log? Does this affect all appliances in the home? Are there no more dropouts when the firewall is inactive? Please answer the following questions.

Best regards Fred

Apologies for the VERY late reply. Just got time to come around to this.

the disconnections on your connection are identical in time to this log? Yes, that is correct.

Does this affect all appliances in the home? True again.

Are there no more dropouts when the firewall is inactive? I haven't tried this; is it safe to turn off the Firewall?!

Please answer the following questions. Answers sent as a Private Message.

Many Thanks.

...is it safe to turn off the Firewall?!

Only when you like Malware, Viruses, Spyware etc in your Net

Never ever switch off the FW. You will be vulnerable to any attacks from the WAN Net - all doors would be open - everybody could harm you.

A SPI Firewall allows only traffic what you are requesting - appliances, web etc. - and blocks anything going in what has been not requested by you. Basicaly requested LAN to WAN (internet) traffic goes through, Unsoliceted WAN trafic is blocked.

I am dumbstruck that suggestion came from a mod!
