Hello,

I was having an old router with a poor connection. I did a speed test and vodafone sent me a new router as a result of the speed test. New router is a vodafone station. I changed the router. Removed the old router and attached the new one. However there is no internet connection. Actually there is but it is so so slow. Sometimes it even fails to connect. White internet light on the router is active. I connected with Ethernet cable, same result. I am also a vodafone employee. Please help me.

Thank you. I managed to make it work. In case somebody had the same problem, I write my solution here.

I disconnected the power cable and cable internet cable from the wall. Waited 5 minutes or more. Connected cables again to wall. Connected cables to the router. Then internet was active again after 15 minutes.

I wonder whether I am allowed to change my network name and password to previous device's name. So that I don't need to change password on every device that connects to network.

Hello MuratAydin,

great that you found a solution and shared it with others :). You may change your modem SSID and password. They will be set back to the settings from the router label if you do a factory reset.

Kind regards,

Claudia
