Internet instability and outage

Hello,

I have a cabel connection in Aachen Germany and for the past 2-3 weeks I have had problems with connection. The internet will drop for hours at a time making work from home impossiable. Attempts to fix this with Vodaphone on whattsapp has not worked, and unfortunatly I do not yet speak German to calling the customer line does not work for me. 

I have tried many fixes but none have fixed the root cause.
