Cable Internet speed too slow

Hello, 

My Vodafone cable internet contract is for 1000 mbit/s. But for the last two days, the download speed is around 2 mbit/s and even lower in some periods. 

Can you please tell me how to increase the speed of downloading? I have tried unplugging the internet cable, the power cable but nothing has improved.

I live in Kiel, 24143.

welcome to our community, we can take a look at the connection. Can you send me your customer data (customer number, name, address and date of birth of the contract holder) via private message?

Hi @Tobias I measured it by Wifi. I did not use the Wlan because it keeps getting disconnected.

Hello AnikDutta,

WLAN includes the term WiFi and means the wireless connection, so you do have disconnects via ethernet connection? Please use the TCP optimizer and check the hints in the thread Fit für Gigabit.
