terminate cable contract

Hi, I'm moving to a new place, it's a student apartment which already has internet connection. And I want to know how  can I cancel the current cable contract before the end of contract? Thank you.

It doesn't matter if there is already an internet connection existing at the new home - in case your contract can be fullfilled there, it'll move.

Only if the contract cannot be fullfilled there, it can be cancelled with a 3 months notice period that starts the earliest by the day of the move but not earlier than the day of your notice. Please also hand in a copy from the registration letter ("Ummeldebescheinigung").

please report your move via this online form.

If the contract is available at your new address, it moves with you. If we can't support your contract there, it will be cancelled with the already mentioned notice period.
